3-Day Refresh

 This past week I completed BeachBody's 3 day refresh. I did the program Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It was something I had been tossing around, and I decided after the holidays: all the parties, deserts and over indulgence it was time to give it a try and "refresh" my body for the New Year.


What is the 3 Day Refresh?
 It is a cleanse -- but not ANY cleanse. Most of the cleanses out there are NOT healthy, they are just draining your body of nutrients. During the 3 Day Refresh you are cleansing and filling your body with the nutrients it needs daily.

What comes in the Refresh?
 * 3 Packets of Shakeology
* 6 Packets of Vanilla Refresh
* 3 Packets of Fiber Sweep
* A program guide, and nutrition manual



So What do you do?
 Don't worry, the program guide walks you through the ENTIRE program! For breakfast you get Shakeology and fruit. You use the fiber sweep ( mixed with water) for a snack. Then for lunch you have vanilla refresh ( mixed with water), a fruit option (you can mix this into the vanilla refresh OR have it separate.) a vegetable and healthy fat option. For dinner, you get another vanilla refresh and a dinner option in the nutrition guide. It's a really simple menu, but really cuts out all the processed foods.



My Results
 My results were pretty good. I lost 2 pounds doing the refresh -- and got rid of all the "after holiday bloat" I had been feeling. I was not working out during my refresh because I was also battling a pretty bad cold, but you can most definitely workout during the refresh. I feel my results would have been better had I been working out while doing the program.

 Day 1: I was feeling pretty good. It was pretty easy for me, other than the fiber sweep. I was not expecting it to taste the way it did. But I got some tips from fellow coaches and it got better!

Day 2: I was hungrier during day two between meals than I had been on day 1. I think it was because I was used to eating more often. But I stuck with it.

Day 3: I was again hungry on day three, but I couldn't give up on the last day! SO, I got through it and stuck with the plan!
