21 Day Fix Extreme
Yesterday morning I was invited to an exclusive workout with some of my Beachbody teammates to see what the NEW 21 Day Fix Extreme is all about. It was amazing. Sweat was dripping from my body, and about 12 hours after my workout I could feel my sore muscles, but that means its working!! The 30 minute workout went so fast, and I really enjoyed every minute of it!
About a year ago, the 21 Day Fix was released, and quickly became the number one at home fitness program. In July I started the program as my introduction to Beachbody. I had AMAZING results in those 21 days...down 8 pounds and 6 inches. The workouts were just what I needed and the portioned controlled containers really helped me learn what foods I needed and how much I needed daily.
I can only imagine what the Extreme version will do!
So What makes the 21 day fix extreme?
The goal is to create more muscle tone, definition, more advanced moves and a tightened up nutrition plan. The creator of the program, Autumn Calabrese actually shares her competition nutrition plan with you! The workouts are still only 30 minutes long, but they are more intense, to help your body get shredded!
It is also perfect if you don't want to count calories, weigh foods or follow complex recipes.
This program is NOT for beginners.
What's involved in the program?
Just like the 21 Day fix, the program is 21 days.
You do one 30 minute workout a day.
You need cross trainer or aerobic shoes, and weights and resistance band
You DO NOT need a lot of space
A clean eating plan to help you know exactly what to eat when!
Workouts included:
There is a mix of Cardio, Pilates, Yoga and strength training. Here is a break down of all the workouts:
- Cardio Fix Extreme: Weighted cardio moves with metabolic training intervals to keep the heart rate soaring.
- Plyo Fix Extreme: An explosive lower body workout that uses jumping and resistance to sculpt muscles
- Upper Fix Extreme :Alternating muscle groups - this workout will sculpt the arms, back, chest and shoulders.
- Lower Fix Extreme: Glutes, quads and hamstrings will be on fire and get more toned and leaner with this resistance workout.
- Pilates Fix Extreme: This workout uses a resistance band for every move. The high intensity mat workout will work your entire body, with focus on the core.
- Yoga Fix Extreme: A fast paced yoga workout combining strength, balance, flexibility and power.
- Dirty 30 Extreme; This workout will burn extra calories and defining muscles.
- Power Strength Extreme: Based on functional movement patterns, these nine total body exercises will change the way the body moves, increasing strength, power and endurance.
- ABC Extreme: This workout targets those problem areas by pushing - Abs, butt and cardio to the extreme.
- The Fix Challenge: Burn off calories with this quick resistance workout.

The nutrition plan:
Unlike the 21 Day Fix -- the Fix Extreme does not all for ANY cheats. You are still able to eat out, but you need to really follow the guidelines provided to maximize your results! 80% of your body comes from clean eating, and this nutrition plan will really prove those statistics.
